2022年6月30日に発足した大工の会。始めたきっかけは、「大工という仕事が30年前と比べて希望を持ちにくくなっているのではないか？」という危機感からでした。

Daiku no Kai was founded on June 30, 2022. The starting point was a sense of urgency — a feeling that, compared to 30 years ago, it had become harder to find hope in the carpenter's work.

実際に労働環境や不安定さなどの課題がありますが、それでも志が高く勉強熱心な大工さんたちがいます。「そんな全国の大工さんが集まることで、新しい価値を生み出せるのではないか？」漠然とした期待感を抱いて大工の会を始めました。

There are real challenges — working conditions, instability — yet there are still carpenters with high aspirations and a deep desire to learn. "If those carpenters across Japan could come together, perhaps we could create new value." With that vague but powerful hope, we began.

勉強会の開催、イベントへの参加、クライアントとの仕事、忘年会などの交流──その中で大工さん同士が知恵を共有し合い、結びつきを深め、個々の仕事に大工の会で得た知見や人脈を生かしています。一人では気付かなかったことも、全国の違うスキルや感性を持った仲間と出会うことで見つかります。「大工の会」は、前へと進むきっかけになるかもしれません。

Study sessions, event participation, client work, year-end gatherings — through these, carpenters share wisdom, deepen ties, and bring back what they learn here into their own work. Things you wouldn't notice alone become visible when you meet peers from across Japan with different skills and sensibilities. Daiku no Kai may be the place where the next step begins.
